Construction Phase Services

Because retail clients require highly professional representation and observation of the construction process, PGA has established an experienced, in-house Construction Services Department.
During project construction, an experienced PGA on-site Field Representative is assigned to monitor the daily progress of the project. In addition, the Project Principal-In-Charge and Project Architect also continue their administrative control and documentation of the project throughout the construction process. At PGA, we believe that frequent procedural construction visits are one of the most important factors which result in the success of a project. For this reason, we have developed the following guidelines which briefly outline our construction services:
  1. Frequent (usually daily) site visits by PGA personnel as appropriate to each phase of construction. Continuous on-site observation during all concrete pours.
  2. Inspections and subsequent written reports prior to any "cover up" (trench backfill, concealed plumbing connections, ceiling installations, etc.).
  3. Regularly scheduled job site meetings (weekly) with Owner, Contractor's Project Manager and PGA's Field Representative during entire construction duration.
PGA gives particular emphasis to its on-site services to ensure that the construction work is proceeding in accordance with the documents, and that the client is receiving the benefit of the maximum in effective contractor performance.
