GFI Partners for PolyOne

PGA partnered with a design-build contractor to do design development, construction documents and construction administration for this warehouse/office distribution center for PolyOne Distribution, a leading supplier of plastic resins for more than a dozen major chemical companies. This project boasted a 70,000 s.f. warehouse with train-car off-loading facilities for pelletized plastics. In addition, the building had 8 truck loading docks for loading and unloading product. The program included 6,000 s.f. of support office space on two levels. PGA coordinated with metal building manufacturers, structural foundation and slab installers, as well as fire protection, fire alarm systems, electrical, plumbing and HVAC engineers. This project was a design-build team effort that afforded the owner a cost-effective approach to conventional construction.
